Steve began architecture school in the fall of 2005 at the State University of New York at Buffalo. During the summer break after his freshman and sophomore years, he worked with a professional framing crew constructing new houses and additions. The experience that he gained from working construction was advantageous in the remainder of his academic career and throughout his professional career producing construction documents.
During his junior year at architecture school, Steve began working for Scheid Architectural as an intern. In the summer that followed, he worked full time at the office producing drawings and bid documents under the supervision of the licensed architects on staff. He continued to work for Scheid during his senior year before parting ways with the firm in May of 2009.
After earning his Bachelor’s of Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Steve landed an entry level position at DeanSutton Architects where he worked under the supervision of licensed architects managing various residential and light commercial type projects. He worked at DeanSutton Architects for one and a half years before being recruited back to Scheid Architectural in the winter of 2010.
Since returning to Scheid Architectural, Steve has helped work on large industrial and commercial type projects and has begun to manage similar type projects on his own. He is enrolled in the Internship Development Program (IDP) and is working toward obtaining his professional license.
